Summer Breeze...
well i have a job! after weeks of applying, calling, not hearing back from and interviewing with many places I am finally going to be working at the hampton inn. I am super excited. also, i will be giving tours at this estate and having a lot of fun i hear. for the past week and a half i have been serving on a jury and going to court. it has been interesting to say the least. lawyers actually stand up and scream objection. today me and my friend almost fell out of our seats because it was so loud. it was way intense. i have a small crush on the lawyer and it is my goal to find him at the bar this summer. speaking of bars...7 days...eight hours and four minutes until my 21st birthday. the celebration will last for days. ok gotta jet...peace aitch | | Wednesday, May 26th, 2004 | | 4:46 pm |

Happy Valentine's Day!
Helllo everyone, happy valentines day to you. lately here at UMass it has been so warm and beautiful every day and the snow is melting, which, while it is playing springtime tricks with my mind, reminds me of my favorite time of year...spring! Things have been going very well over here...went to the SOLD OUT hockey game last night...we lost, but there were so many people there and I had a blast. I am in NE right now, but then again, where else would I be? Haha. I feel so happy for so many reasons...the nice weather...valentines day...the new boy...my classes are awesome...all of these things put together are wonderful. The other day I was riding the bus back from town and listening to Matt Nathanson having just picked up some valentine making materials when I almost started crying..and not a sad cry, but just like an elated feeling that came to me and I was just so thankful for everything. To Katie for coming along with me on our giddy ride and listening to me go on and on about things (you know i'll do the same for you girl! -- 27 days!) for the JCrew for adopting me and making me feel a welcome part of their group...heidi and diana for putting my name on the door like a real roommate! Becky, for being so happy everytime i see her! and the best drunk ever, cristy for cooking steak lunches and convincing me to skip class in the name of roomateship...meghan for taking me to all the concerts and having the best advice in the world, all the sisters and brothers for providing a good time wherever they go, kasey for making the chicken balk at the most appropriate times...i contemplated answering...hahah...jae for knowing this feeling...my family for everything...oh god, i am so corny but i am just so happpy and i just want everyone to know how much they mean to me and how i appreciate everything....and if i forgot you or soemthing, i am in a rush and chris is about to pick me up..haha..this semester has been so much fun already and its only the first month...next weekend is kasey's 21st!! woohoooo..and after that i cant even imagine...kevin and i made a deal that every weekend we are going to go and try something new..which for him is everything..the boy hasnt been to antonios yet!!! i was shocked...but for real...i am excited for things to come...26 days i think until florida! we are going to venice and disney for a day and one day i am even being turned into a boston fan as i watch a spring training game...but hey..i like baseball...nuff said...i am going to lie out on the beach for endless amounts of hours and just soak up the sun..but ive got to get home...i have not been there since thursday..oppps:) so sorry this entry sounds like an academy award winning speech, but there is nothing else to say...happy valentine's day! mwwwa!! -- aitch | | Monday, February 9th, 2004 | | 9:39 pm |
I dont know where to start....
This weekend has been one of the best ever at UMass. For real. I wrote about the hockey game and all...ps I am so excited for Friday's game!So Saturday was supposed to be a recuperation day, but we had to wake up at like 6 45 to be at FAC, so recuperation was not lookin so good. We got back and then slept some more and then I laid in different people's beds until about 4 when I finally decided I needed to do SOMETHING. Everyone in the Johnson Crew was going out to Springfield for the night, and Katie and I were not going to go, but their RA Alex convinced us and we made the treck out there. A boy named Nick knew a bouncer at one of the bars so he let us all in! We had a blast dancing and drinking and I cant even put into words how much fun it was. Kevin was super nice all night and bought me lots of green monster shots..haha. Everyone was just so happy to be out and we were all in such a good mood. I don't even know what else to say....it was just that fun. I slept over NE again on Sat and on Sunday I finally went home back to Puffton. Meigh Jan Healeigh, my special friend, had tickets from the COllegian to go to NOHO and see Matt Nathanson. The show was amazing. Tears came to my eyes during some songs because the music combined with my happiness was too much to handle. Meghan, thank you for taking me! I loved every minute! So now its Monday and we are all upset because the fun weekend is over and all we can do is look to more for more good times. I have no desire to do any work, but I know I need to get my act together sometime soon..haha...okay thats all for now...ciao ciao! -- aitch | | Saturday, February 7th, 2004 | | 4:04 pm |
flirting snowballs....
So yeah, I have not been in my apartment in the past three nights and have sudo moved in to Northeast. (I hope no one is getting super tired of me). Last night we went to the hockey game and is was sooooo much fun! we stood the entire time and cheered and the crown was awesome. It was mullet night and the first 1000 people at the game got free mullet wigs..interesting, but it was a blast watching the mullins center turn into the MULLETS center..hahaha. I love UMass Hockey! After the game REM hit up Johnson to hang out with the JCrew. This was so much fun as katie and i had made a deal to have the best night of our lives (BNOOL) hahah. I'm not going to write all of the details, but if you ask me, I will let you know about the fun. I am so happy right now, just in general with everything and a few specific things but all in all im on a cloud...not on a cold snowbank that melts when things get HOT. I dont know what I am doing tonight..people here are heading to Springfield, but I am exhausted. I had the goal of staying up all night last night, and we made it until 4, but seeing that we had a 6 30 wake up call, a couple hours of sleep were necessary. However, I got to squeeze in some extra hours after we returned from Honors Band. And Becky, you are right...we need to all get together..all of us Tappers...maybe some Fitzwilly's??? With some garlic gorgonzola bread?? Yummm...okay, thats all from here...ciaociao! -- aitch | | Thursday, February 5th, 2004 | | 12:37 am |

Another sleep over with Katie!!! Hoooray!!! Oh what fun it is!My day today was really busy with many classes and things to do. All in all this semester is going to be pretty crazy. I heard a really funny story about people trippin on shrooms, but i will have to update that later. okay, time for bed! quote of the night? boys are dumb. let's talk about flowers. by heather, heidi and katie after getting tired of hearing about motorcycles and croch rockets. yeah. ciao world! -- aitch | | Monday, February 2nd, 2004 | | 12:34 am |

superbowl sunday
good times, you know. here i am, girl from new york and i am absolutely thrilled that the patriots have won the superbowl. its very exciting and to add to the excitement we have brought in some 250 cops and 18 video cameras and all sorts of other fun things to keep the umass campus in check. but really, its great for the state that they have something to cheer about, after their devestating loss to the yankees (aka the greatest day of my life). so whats good. last night i spent some time in northeast and had a blast just chillen with some friends and getting to know some new people. i have a squish. fun times. i love the nights when its okay to fall asleep at five in the morning...they are the absolute best. im here in northeast now too, waiting for the final bus...one hour from now...but other that that...i wish yall good tidings and cheer...ciao! | | Saturday, January 31st, 2004 | | 5:55 pm |
Better late than never
Okay, so its been awhile, sue me. But for all you curious fans out there, here's a small update of the happenings in my life. Winter BREAK came and went, pretty quickly. Kasey Jenna and I spent many nights at the diner, sometimes with Rob and Curan, other times appreciating our golden experiences and indulging in delicious foods. New Years Eve was spent in Albany and while some things went down, a good time was had by all and maybe a little scadal to spice things up. Wintersession also has passed us by. I decided to take a finance class and despite my anxious regard to it, it was faily easy and my professor was chill and helped us out as much as he could. I lived in fabulous pufton 64 with ms katie and ms melissa and we had an awesome time. Highlights include: Pufton fun January 9th! our power hour mix (that we spent four hours creating) may not have been what we expected, but our fiesta turned into a small dance party with everyone waiting in anticiaption of what song would come next..haha yeah right. Next, melissas blone hair and her decision to go punk. blonde hair, chains, crazy music...you go girl...days spent at barnes and noble and the gym, big guy and gus gus, trips to the mall, full house, 7th heaven and ABC Family, gossip is sexy, gossip is good, not everyone does it, but everyone should, merging friends, day long hangovers, cooking!, and most importantly, moving beyond our band relationships..haha you know what i mean...i could go on and on, but a good time was had by all. So spring semester has begun and I have to say that I am thrilled. It started on Monday with a trip to the beach on Plum Island and then acting like tourists all over Newburyport. A small road trip, but exactly what we needed. I went to all of my classes and it was so good to see everyone, even those I didnt even talk to. I am beginning to make friends within my major and its simply grand. I spent all day on campus on Thursday and had a great day! I even got a job! Yup, thats right, this girl will be serving you at the blue wall on fridays and sundays...go me! The day was topped off with some q time with e, a hockey game and fresh wings! Friday I worked all day and had a great time meeting new people and learning the ropes of food service and friday night we trecked to the Olive Garden! We even invited my friend billy, who i was super glad to move our friendship beyond the classroom..haha. The we went to shannons for some golden times and here we are today, waiting until the hockey game. This semester...i have a good feeling about it. okay. thats all from here for now. ciaociao! | | Friday, December 19th, 2003 | | 11:01 pm |
New Paltz
Heelllooo all! I am here in New Paltz digesting what was a wonderful meal at the new and improved Barnaby's! It was absolutely fantastic. They even has really good French Onion Soup, which is a staple in any Barnaby's. So I'm home, sittin with my cats. My mom won't stop yelling at me and saying that I have forgotten about my real cats ever since Prince came into my life. But to Boots and Amber...the love is real! These past couple days have been absolutely wonderful with the return of Mike Keleher and the end of the Fall 2003 semester. On Wednesday Cristy Meghan and I trecked through the rain to Boston to meet and greet the great Michael Keleher. We even made signs for the airport! Then after the wonderful reuinion we went into Boston and got some dinner. And let me just say! Driving in Boston is NO FUN! Especially when you have no clue where you are, where you are going, or which roads are one way and which are two way. Man oh man.Spending time with Mike has been superb and I am going to miss him so much again. You think you get used to not being around someone, but then you see them again, and you are reminded why you miss them so much. Mike, have a great time, but it is true, half of my heart is leaving:) Take care of it! Last night we went to cait merrigan's to party for a little and I had a ton of fun. when we got back to the apartment chris mike and tosin were there and we decided to order the biggest size of wings...ummmm, not a good idea! This was huge and a little too much for us. We all felt super sick by the end of the night. After the boys left Mike and I stayed up chattin for awhile and finally fell asleep around 5...AND since Mike is all jet legged, he wakes up early, so, I do too. All in all it was a wonderful couple of days, and as my grades are coming in I am slowly realizing that I will get nothing lower than a B this semester! Go me! Okay everyone, tata! -- Aitch | | Monday, December 15th, 2003 | | 11:34 pm |
Here yall go
Okay, so wow, it's been a long time, but here are the updates: *This past weekend has been one of the best ever! It started on Thursday when I drove through the windy highways to go and visit Jae. We ate out at my favorite restaurant (FRIDAYS!!!!) and then proceeded to visit her friend Aaron. His planty house was a lot of fun and even more fun when all of his friends came over dressed for thug night. They brought some delicious KFC and some movies. After we left there we went out to the bars and Long Island Iced Teas were only $3! It was an amazing deal that I had to partake in. I was a happy girl by the end of the night:). The bars in Albany, as ghetto fabulous as they may be, always provide a good time, and you always meet some new friends! I got home around 4 on Friday only to realize I had a ton of work I had put off. I did finish it in time for FUBAR (which obviously means fucked up beyaon all recognition) which we arrived to at about 10:30. The party was bumpin'! Haha, not really, I just wanted to use that word. The party was a ton of fun through, and everyone I knew was there! Once we paid for beer we got an awesome little bracelet with moons and stars on it...it was simply fantastic! Katie, Melissa and I had a lot of fun drinking the jello shots, beer, rum, and wine. Whoo...it was super. Some details are rather hazy, but I do believe they don't matter. I got to hang out with all of my favorite people like Fatty, Mel, Val, my lil sis! you know, the list goes on and on! Shout out to Fall '02! So by Saturday morning I was exhaused because I had not slept in two nights. At around 4 Meghan and I left to go and see DMB in providence! It was AMAZING! I cannot stop thinking about the show. My two new fav songs are Dancing Nancies and Typical Situation. He was without his band, but he did have some friends along with him such as Tim Reynolds and Trey from Phish! I now have a small crush on Trey, as drugged out as he may be. But for real, the concert was so good it made me in such a happy mood. They covered a Peter Gabriel song and a paul simon song and I just listed to them all of the time now. So that brings me to Sunday where I woke up at 2:30! I was shocked because I usually cannoy sleep that late. I called up Mel and convinced her to drive thorugh the storm to Barnes and Nobles so we could all study. It was quite the adventure. Katie, the voice of reason, pleaded with us to leave, but our dying devotion the the corporation prevailed and we remained at B and N for about two hours! On our way home we stopped to eat at the Hanger because even though the roads were horrible, the voice of reason figured it was 6 o'clock, and therefor time to eat dinner. Melissa drove us all home and ended up sleeping over because it was just too dangerous for a girl like her to be alone on slippery roads.Today I had my final, but thinking about it makes me nervous, so that it all for that. *Mike Keleher returns to America on Wed! We are going to go to the airport to bring him back and the spend the best quality time ever with him! I am super excited! *I get to go home on some days! Friday!!! YAYY..that means some Q CHI TIME! Nothing could be better. I am super excited for out traditional Gad's dinner and all the fun that goes along with him. Maybe this time my mom can brag about MY GPA:) *Everything else is great. Evan told me he met another girl, but honestly, I am okay with that. I have been moving on and I feel really good right now about things. I wouldn't be able to do it without my friends, whether near or far, you guys are all the best. Okay, that is enough for now...tata! -- AITCH | | Thursday, November 27th, 2003 | | 10:24 pm |
Thanksgivin
Hello all...long time no write...well today is thanksgiivng which means some very important things. One, there is no school so I have actually been able to sleep and relax, two, christmas season has actually begun! and Three, no more turkey for a whole year! I know this sounds strange, but I dont like it all that much and believe it or not, its not my favorite meal of the year. I have had a pretty good week. I went to visit Kae on thursday on bean town, convincinv her to come back for the night and go to a play with me. She was supposed to go back the next day with my friend, but plans ended up chanigng and she got to spend the entire weekend with me! I felt super bad that my friend got so sick, but some q time with kae was def in order. We just kinda layed around and caught up on sleep and laid low. It was fun and I loved having her there..she is welcome any time! Today I talked to mike on the phone for like a whole hour and it was simply fabulous! i cant wait to go and visit and explore the wonderful city or paris and party like there's no tomorrow. Mike..we are going to have a freakin blast! In regards to E, I feel bette rabout everything for some reason. I feel things coming together and me being okay with how things are. Yeah, I feel lonely sometimes, but who doesnt. I am a tad upset we haven't really talked in like two weeks, but what is meant ot be will be. I feel better and that is very important. The semester is almost done, but not really since I get to stay at school and take a finance class....goooood times. It should be fun though. I am living wih Katie(who insitists that we might die in Pufton, but I asure you Katie, we will not) and many poeple are staying like meaghan, mel, and meghan and becky. E will be here too so we should get to hang out some which will be nice. Next semester I am taking 7 and a half classes basically if you count concert band. Along with this I also want to get a job, possibly at the Collegian or the Blue Wall, somethere that has easy access. I need some cash. Especailyl for my adventures in Europe!Well my stomach hurts from food so I must be going. Goodniht all! Happpy Holidays! | | Thursday, November 13th, 2003 | | 1:02 am |
A great day!
I just had the best day ever! First I had my class, which i wasn't going to go to, but we ended up having a quiz, so it all worked out. Then I went to my advisor, who i was scared of, but she ended up being a cool lady and she did help me out. For the rest of the afternoon i hung out with katie and matt miceli and we went to antonios, to ttarget, to barts and to the mall and had a splendid time. Next was band, which was also fun and it went by very quickly. After going to the gym and some sisterhood stuff katie and matt came over and we watched american wedding and ordered wings! and...get this...cristy was eating the wings! she at the breading and everything just about moaning about the great taste of them. i was in my glory:) then cristy and matt were talking a lot about astronomy and cristy gave us a rundown on her theories...very interesting...apparently we are the green people. And on that lovely note, it's off to bed...i have to be up at 6 in the morn! yikes. Oh, and mike...im sorry i never vcalled you back..i was in transit back to umass when i said i would call and it was way too late by the time i got back! I love you! I love you all! | | Tuesday, November 11th, 2003 | | 11:07 pm |
It's a brisk day, but look at the sky!!!
Well today we had no classes becuase of Veteran's Day, but the day was still jam packed with awesome sisterhood stuff and lots of fun times. Last night I trecked over to Becky's where we had a nice gathering with myseld, becky, meghan, joe(who drove up from NH)Chris, Mike and Becky's boy Ryan. It was so much fun! We played Kings for a long time and at one point Joe was told to drink, so not only did he drink, but he CHUGGED this huge ass bottle of wine and it didn't leave his lips until it was all gone! Amazing. So after about an hour of feelin happy, Joe suddenly felt a little bit sick...a shocker:) At around 3 30 I left the festivities of Presidential and headed home for some rest. In the morning, however, I was woken up by a scared Becky and Steph because Joe was nowhere to be found! He had left Becky's in the middle of the night and apparently was not at his house. We did find him though, and everything is better now... So today started off with an awesome game of football feauturing the sisters of tau beta sigma against the mcs! We had so much fun! Granted, none of us knew the exact rules or anything, but we threw the ball around and tackeled each other to the groud...and it started snowing so it kinda felt like a movie or a commercial...some classic fall fun! After that Katie and I brought our littles to Breugers for some lunch (which was simply divine!) and then we headed off to more sister stuff. All in all the day was great, and I even made an appearance in the library with Mabirch to get some reading done. How successful are we:) | | Monday, November 10th, 2003 | | 10:35 pm |
I don't get many things right the first time. In fact, I am told that a lot. Now I know all the wrong turns and stumbles and falls brought me here. And where was I before the day that I first saw your lovely face? Now I see it every day. And I know that I am, I am, I am the luckiest. What if I'd been born fifty years before you in a house on a street where you lived? Maybe I'd be outside as you passed on your bike, would I know? And in a wide sea of eyes, I see one pair that I recognize. And I know that I am, I am, I am the luckiest. I love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you. Next door there's an old man who lived to his nineties and one day passed away in his sleep. And his wife, she stayed for a couple of days and passed away. I'm sorry, I know that's a strange way to tell you that I know we belong, that I know that I am, I am I am the luckiest. Current Mood: content | | Thursday, November 6th, 2003 | | 8:47 pm |
Let's just focus on the present...for now
Yeah, so I am so great at making myself upset and not only confusing myself but confusing the person who I am talking to and who I want more than anything to understand everything about me, what I've done and what I want. I want to erase back into time, or do I? Had none of this happened, would I have realized any of the things I do now? Would I be unhappy? Would the thing that has changed changed while we were together so that everything would have turned around? DId we make our decision too soon? Do I even know what I want? They say the only way to get over someone is to meet someone else..well good luck new person, you will have to fill some very big shoes to help me get over this. I miss things. I miss it. | | 2:42 pm |
Rambling
This is my first time writing for real in something like this so I am scared I will be boring and everyone will x out my page. So the semester is going well and my grades in my classes are pretty good and I am hoping to make the deans list for the first time ever here at UMass. I am trying to convince my father that if I make it, he can send me to France and Mike and I can have the time of our lives hanging out in Paris. It’s enough motivation for me. I have been trying to figure out for so long what I wanted to do with the rest of my time here. I contemplated heading to London next fall and studying there, but I don’t think I have enough time to go there and to get out of here in four years. My next plan was to fly over to Hawaii and study on the beach for a semester with Katie and Matt, but after thinking for awhile, it just makes more senses for me to stay here, get my credits done and graduate on time. So, that makes going to France over Spring break an excellent and exciting opportunity that will be appealing to all parties involved. I am enjoying my new major, hotel and tourism management and I am excited to gain some “practical” work experience. I am scared to meet with my advisor on Wednesday and see her reaction when I tell her that no, I have not worked in any hospitality related industry, but yes, I know that that is what I want to do when I get out of school. I’ve heard she’s not the nicest of ladies, but I think I can handle it. Band is almost over, which is nice, but sad in the sense that it went by so fast this year. Our show is good and performing is exciting, but sometimes I don’t feel like we get the reaction from the crowds that we deserve. Oh well, I love band and my friends who are part of it. I don’t know what I would do without them. I am going home this weekend to shop for banquet and I get to buy a new dress! How exciting! Lately I have been shopping for new classes and I have decided that I am going to stay here over the winter and take two classes. There are many exciting things about this. One, I am getting two classes over and done with! Two, I am probably going to get a job that I will get to keep next semester and Three, I am going to live with the fabulous Katie for a whole month! On the other hand though, I will not get to spend the month with my chis back at home and that makes me sad. I miss those gals a lot..they know where I come from. So in other news, I hung out with Matt last night and it was so good to see him. He has a real job and a real life now in Philly where he makes money and has benefits! Because of this, he treated me for some coffee at Starbucks and we caught up on everything we have missed. I didn’t realize it until last night, but UMass really isn’t the same without him here. He was my lunch date companion even if he hated going into CVS. Today is Thursday which is like my Friday and there are no classes tomorrow! I may hang out with Evan tonight if he is not busy, but I’m not sure since we have seen each other twice this week. I don’t want to bother him and I especially don’t want him to think that I am too attached to him or whatever because apparently he knows how to draw the line between being friends and being boyfriend and girlfriend. Being friends is going fantastically well and I only wish we could have this much fun when we were together and that I wouldn’t have to feel like I am bothering him and such. But whatever, I am happy with the way things are going and am grateful to have him here are a friend. I’m taking things day by day, but at the same time, appreciating them so much more because I never know when the day is going to come where he says, “Heather, we can’t hang out anymore, I’ve met someone else.” I’ll just throw that to the back of my mind for now. The whole world should just be friends. Everything is so much easier that way without the pressure of a title and the requirements that go along with it. Alright, I’m going to go and read now..How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents…it’s yours Mike…thanks for letting Cristy borrow it! Ciao Ciao! |
